Start off your day with a visit to Grizzly Manor Café, known for their huge and delicious pancakes. Peppercorn Grill is perfect for burgers, steaks, and salads, while Murray's Saloon and Eatery offers up some of the best pub food on the mountain in a rather rowdy, karaoke-focused setting.

Are you looking for Pizza? Try No Name Pizza in Big Bear City. It's a unique place where you can order your pizza "Take and Bake" if you'd like to cook it up at home, or you can eat in their picturesque little eatery. They have a nice selection of beers and some great sandwiches as well. They are a small shop, so it's wise to call ahead with your order, even for the Take and Bake. They usually have a long line of orders in the queue, but the pizza is incredible!

Head to Oakside Restaurant and Bar in the Village for a fantastic meal, complete with an upstairs bar. For sandwiches, try 572 Social Kitchen and Lounge also in the Village. In the summer, they have outside dining and music!

The Pines Lakefront has amazing lake views and serves some of the best dishes around. Don't miss the duck! The prime rib is also to die for!

Fire Rock Burgers and Brews is a local favorite with some great new takes on America's favorite dish, while Get The Burger is nationally acclaimed for its great food, real malts, and 50’s inspired ambiance. They really do it right here, so it sometimes takes a while. But, it's always worth the wait.

If you're looking for something truly unique, stop by The Captain's Anchorage. It was once owned by Andy Devine, who played Wild Bill Hickock's sidekick, Jingles, on the old TV show. And --- it even has its own ghost! All the red leather booths with brass buttons will make you feel like you stepped back in time! It's a great place for an adult apres ski gathering. Check out their website and read the History page. You'll learn about "George the Ghost".

Finally, The Broadway Café in Big Bear City is a great spot to take the whole family for some delicious burgers and shakes.

No matter what you choose, you won’t be disappointed when you’re dining in Big Bear.
