On Saturday, February 18th, join USASA Boardercross No. 1 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Bear Mountain (43101 Goldmine Drive, Big Bear Lake). Enjoy a day of snowboarding and competing at the top of the mountain. Or, explore Nature on a guided tour at the Big Bear Discovery Center (40971 North Shore Drive, Fawnskin). Participants will learn about the local wildlife, plants, and ecology of the San Bernardino Mountains. 

If you are looking for something more mellow, the Big Bear Discovery Center offers StoryTime for the little ones. Listen to engaging stories and create crafts with the help of a dedicated ranger. 

On Sunday, February 19th, repeat the Nature Walk or introduce yourself to the Pinecone birdfeeders. Participants will decorate birdseed-filled pinecones to take home or hang in the area.
